How we Help

The Bridge of Hope is a team of trained volunteers ready to listen and begin a journey with you. Feel confident and comfortable when sharing, all correspondence is confidential.

Listen to your need

You have VALUE beyond your needs and our compassionate volunteers are here to listen and find helpful solutions for you.

Analysis

Verifiers are requested to assist us in understanding the nature, extent, and legitimacy of the need. We will make every effort to find the best solution.

Referral

After verifying your request, we will refer you to one of our partner churches that host our GAP services, where you can find the items you requested.

Follow-up

After providing our services, we will follow up with a call to ensure that you were properly taken care of and to see if we can assist you further.

Healthy Habits Program

Learning a new skill or habit is part of the journey!

This twenty-four week program includes two classes that are nationally acclaimed, benefiting individuals and families. If you would like to correct bad habits, understand your finances and pay down debt, develop a healthy self-esteem by understanding your true value and gain some friends in the process then this program is for you.

We believe that education and healthy relationships are the greatest way to achieve the goals you have set for yourself. Our “Healthy Habits” classes are designed to help you.

Affirming Potential

12 Weeks

This class is a life-changing journey that is based on the universal truth that God has created each of us with inherent value and potential. The course curriculum includes class teachings, group discussions, and personal reflection opportunities, which can help participants to accept their past, better understand their present, and prepare themselves to embrace their future. During the program, participants will be exploring their relational, emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being.

Faith & Finances

12 Weeks

This class lays the foundation for basic financial management skills. The course discusses money in the context of relationships, attitudes, values, obstacles and influences. Participants gain important information and skills needed to address everyday life including setting up a budget, giving, being thrifty, and eliminating debt by overcoming real-world financial pitfalls.

Visit a Partner Church

Visiting a church has never been easier

We understand it can be overwhelming to visit a church and we want to help.

Our partner churches are amazing and have taken extra steps to welcome you. Contact us and we will connect you with a Healthy Helping Church. These churches have been recognized by Love INC of Clackamas County to offer specific care for you and your needs. If you desire they will help get your children into appropriate classes and will sit with you during service. They will introduce you as a friend to their friends.
