Love INC is local: We serve the low-resourced families who reside in Clackamas County Oregon. Our mission is empowered by mobilizing local churches to transform lives and communities In the Name of Christ.

Our Beginnings

Love INC of Clackamas County was established on February 14, 2005, opening the clearinghouse for referral.
Our Partner church network included 9 churches.

Love INC of Clackamas County serves over 2,000 individuals and families a year. Our Network of Partner Churches has grown to over 45 with nearly 60 volunteers serving over 853 hours each week.

Our Partner Churches

Christian churches from multiple denominations partner together to form Love INC. Within these partnerships, Love INC serves as the scaffolding upon which greater growth is possible. However, it is the Christians in these churches who model Christ’s love and answer God’s call to serve. Working together as the body of Christ, we can best love and serve our community.

Julie Handy

Julie and her husband Tom live in Oregon City and attend Trinity Lutheran Church in Oregon City. She co-teaches 6th and 7th grade Confirmation classes at Trinity. She likes to travel and take care of her beautiful backyard Koi pond. In her spare time she enjoys reading a good mystery book.

Julie is our Executive Assistant and Bookkeeper. Her strong attention to detail helps us maintain fiscal responsibility for our ministry. Communicating appreciation, Julie sends our donors "thank you" cards.

Robin Keating

Robin has lived in California, La Mision, Baja California and moved to Oregon in 2013. Married 3 years, she and her husband enjoy finding ways to engage with neighbors that are fun and build relationships.

Robin is our Community Engagement Coordinator. Her love for our community and commitment to the church gives her the unique perspective on bringing the two together.

Shannon Waggener

Shannon was born in McMinnville, OR. She enjoys vacationing in the sunshine, all things Christmas, baking homemade pumpkin pies, her two dogs and watching both of her children play in multiple sports! She brings a background in ministry and passion for Jesus and people. One of Shannon’s future goals is to travel to all the states in America in an RV along side her husband Mike.

Shannon is our Care Coordinator. She oversees our client intake volunteers who are the first communicators with our low-resourced neighbors. This team answers each phone call with a smile and readiness to listen.

Stuart Smith

A native Oregonian, Stuart has been married 28 years to his high school sweetheart. With two children and two dogs they enjoy time in nature and visiting food trucks around the Portland Metro area. Stuart has lived and traveled around the world his favorite memory is tour riding a motorcycle through Italy, Slovenia, and Hungary.

As the Executive Director, Stuart helps build Love INC's future by maintaining focus on our mission and vision. Stuart is passionate about developing new church partnerships and is available to speak about Love INC at your church or next event.

Travis Jones

After growing up in California, Travis experienced life on the East Coast but returned to the West with his wife of 7 years as they have come to enjoy the rainy days of the Portland area and the beauty within and beyond the city. He enjoys challenging and thoughtful conversations, rich and flavorful coffee or tea, good food, engaging with culture, and the crisp air of the Northwest.

Travis is our Program Manager. By developing systems and procedures, Travis helps maintain the overall health of our organization. He runs our Healthy Helping trainings and interviews each volunteer that serves at Love INC. He also keeps our Church Partners informed by working closely with our Liaisons.
